Which is better to live, the West Coast or the East Coast?

I'm thinking of moving and would like to be by the ocean but if I'm going to move out to one end of the country it needs to be really worth it, what do you think?

    everyone has their own preferences. California has fires and is falling into the ocean, and the east side gets the hurricanes/tornadoes and high snow. So where would you rather live? I'd say CA is super expensive and so are a few other states. So to survive maybe the east coast would be better.

    West coast. Especially those states that do not have snow
