Why has the media missed a perfect enemy to demonize, better than the Nazis, in Islamic Terrorists?

Actually, the media and the Progressives in the US actually sided with. defended, and sought to appease both the NAZI and the Fascist movements during the 1920's, in much the same way as they minimize and try to rationalize the actions of Islamic Terrorists today.

H. G. Wells, one of the most influential progressives of the 20th century, said in 1932 that progressives must become “liberal fascists” and “enlightened Nazis.”
