What is proceeds from sale ?

Suppose if sale for the month are 5000 and expenses 3000 so profit is 2000.

So please let me know what will be proceeds from sale 5000 or 2000.

    'Proceeds' is another way of saying 'profit'. Gross income minus all costs associated with producing that income.

    You often hear the term used when a company or organization says that all proceeds from the sale of whatever it is being sold will be given to charity. Anything they have left after all costs are accounted for is the proceeds given to charity.
