Strange item in husbands truck?

I was with my husband the other day in his truck. He asked me where a pair of tweezers where that he had in the truck. I said I don't know. He has them in there because he actually uses them to pull out nose hairs and said the out door light is better. What showed up in the drink cup holder was a tiny pair of baby nail clippers. He is 60 and I am 55 we do not have any grand kids or small children in our lives. I feel uncomfortable about it now cause I think he has not bean faithful through our 36 year marriage. When I said where did these come from he said you must have put them in here. I know I did not. I asked where they came from and he said he did not know. I know someone had to put them in the truck and he said he did not and I know I didn't.

So, what's your question? You jump to the conclusion of cheating over a pair of baby nail clippers. Wierdness. Your marriage clearly isn't very solid, if that's all it takes for you to think he's straying. It's also a REALLY odd item to be left behind, by someone he might be cheating with.

You need more to go on before you start wondering if he's cheating. One pair of baby nail clippers that no one claims to know the origin of, does not a cheater make. If the intent of your post was to make fun of people who jump to conclusions over simple things that probably have nothing to do with anything nefarious, you succeeded in giving an example of someone doing that.

That is just about the least likely "cheating" evidence I have ever heard of.

Who knows where they came from. They are not a sign of cheating though. If he has another family and a baby and the only evidence that you have of this is tiny nail clippers, he must be the world's greatest secret keeper.

Seriously, that's like finding a penny and assuming he is descended from Abraham Lincoln.

Edit: it's possible the tweezers he bought came with nail clippers and he left them there and forgot about them. I realize I have tweezers that I use for the same and they came with one of those nail boards and all sorts of things that I don't want or need and they are probably in a drawer in my desk or something and if someone asked where they came from I'd probably not remember.

Get a voice activated recorder and tape it under the passenger seat. If he's hanging out with another woman in the truck, you'll get the evidence you need to take the next step. Good luck.

MY Opinion... is it a "gut-feeling" you get when you think he could possibly be cheating?! Like, are there other suspicious things that has happened to make you feel that way? Does he occasionally give other ppl rides?... maybe that person left them in there. If YOU feel like there are other factors into this, then it's up to you to decide that. Well, good luck!

So.. you think your husband is banging a woman who brings her little baby along? Really? That's kinky.

My husband plucks those hairs on top of his nose in the car too! Easy to see in the daylight. I saw another guy doing it at a stoplight last month while alone in his car.

I think what she is assuming is....only a woman would carry around a pair of baby clippers. Men generally dont carry baby clippers around. It could be a relatives, or friends....I wouldnt say anything, but if you find anything else, you want to check into it further.

Unless he's hiding candy up his a$$ and having toddlers reach up there with their perfectly manicured little fingers then I'm pretty sure you're safe.

Clippers often come in sets, so who knows where they might have come from. It doesn't mean anything. People who cheat always leave more obvious evidence. You will destroy your marriage going after stuff like this.
