Do you realize that school tax on your home (not based on income) is really legal THEFT?

There's no tax called "school tax." What you're really saying is that you don't want any government spending on anything that doesn't benefit you personally. Good luck with that. You certainly made your argument more impressive by capitalizing THEFT.

No.. We have to pay for our local school districts with some form of taxes. Either property tax, income tax or sales tax.

I help pay for local schools through my property tax and while I don't like to pay the tax, I would rather pay the tax than have uneducated kids in my community.

Uh, there's no such thing as "legal theft". Theft by its definition is illegal.

That's like saying "do you realize that a prairie is really a FLAT MOUNTAIN?"

Sounds like you've just discovered how the funding of local public schools works. Never too late to learn, is it, son.

Your land/real estate would be worth almost nothing if the government did not provide public services including schools to the people in lives there.

It's called property tax. That's one of the oldest taxes around.
