I assume you are a male, because many young men struggle with anger. You must recognize that anger is an emotion. Sometimes you will feel angry for no justifiable reason. If you fail to act on this anger, it will eventually subside. You must objectively tell yourself that your family and wife are not the enemy. You get frustrated with your own circumstances. In your desire to absolve yourself, you blame it on the ones who are closest to you. Thus you focus your bitterness and anger on your family. This is self destructive as well as destructive on your family. Emotions follow your thought patterns (the science of cognitive therapy focuses on this fact). If you want to begin feeling relief, you must concentrate on changing your thought patterns. Focus on what you are thankful about- about the good attributes of your family members - about the blessings associated with your job etc. As you renew your mind and discard a constant focus on the negative, your emotions will respond. It is empowering to tell your wife " I feel angry at you - I know you haven't done anything wrong and I don't understand why -but I just feel angry. Let me work through it." She already senses you are angry with her - it will help her to know you don't blame her for it but are struggling with emotions.
