Science is all about discovering reality. Reality undermines conservative and fundamentalist ideology.

There is no single answer to this. Some simply don't believe anything that goes against their holy book. Many others simply don't understand science or were never taught about it correctly.
For example...when many hear the term scientific theory they think it means "just a guess." When we use the word "theory" in everyday language that is usually what it means. This is not the definition of a scientific theory, however. A "guess" in science is called a hypothesis, not a theory.
A scientific theory is defined by scientists as a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that is acquired through the scientific method and repeatedly tested and confirmed through observation and experimentation. It is a framework upon which knowledge is orginazed.
Evolution is a scientific theory but so is gravity - the general THEORY of relativity. Both have been tested and observed to be true and both made predictions that were later discovered.
A scientific law on the other hand explains how components fit together and relate to one another. Like F=ma or E=mc^2. Scientific theories contain scientific laws.

They don't. Some of them do object to liberal theories of global warming and evolution, but those things aren't science. In science, you make predictions, test them, and reject your hypothesis if your predictions are proven wrong. The global warming advocates have made a bunch of predictions, and they've all been proven wrong. So continuing to support it isn't science. Evolution doesn't make predictions that can be tested. So that isn't science either.

Don't hate it at all, in fact, science provides evidence/proof that a fetus is a human life. Liberals tend to ignore science when it goes against their policies

The fundamentalist/ social conservatives who seem to 'hate science' are actually controlled opposition, designed to distract people from genuine scientific analysis on global warming, vaccines etc.
The fundamentalists essentially serve the role of flat earthers, they make conspiracy theorists look like crazy nuts in order to discourage people from looking at issues more closely.

it's a false religion to many. some see it as infallible and omniscient, when like the men who engage in it, it is corrupt and full of error. there's no better example of this than the pseudoscience called medicine. an endless cycle of drug releases, marketing, injuries, sometimes deaths, lawsuits, then withdrawals, yet the brain dead common sense deprived adherents of the cult of scientism keep worshipping it and volunteering for it's abuse.

It disproves all their stupid theories.
