No. St. Nicodemus was a Pharisee that became a disciple of Jesus remember his discussion that one must be born of water and Spirit St. Nicodemus was the man Jesus was speaking with whom became one of Jesus' disciples. From accounts he also was a member of the Sanhedrin whom was not present during the trial of Jesus being the trial was held during the night and not all the members of the Sanhedrin were present St. Nicodemus was one of them not present like I said the trial of Jesus was arranged so Jesus would be found guilty. St. Nicodemus also helped take the body of Jesus from the cross and prepared Jesus' body by burial custom in the tomb.
Your probably thinking of St. John the Baptist he was related to Jesus being that Jesus' Mother and St. Elizabeth the mother of St. John the Baptist were cousins.

No, they weren't related, but Nicodemus did end up becoming a friend of the family. Nicodemus first had dealings with Joseph during a business deal. Nicodemus found out Joseph lived in the area that his servants (bodyguards?) had told him of a prophet who taught a different way of God. Nicodemus asked Joseph if he knew of this prophet. Although Joseph didn’t want to say so, he had to admit it was his son, Jesus.
Joseph had become a Pharisee, as he knew Jesus had a special knowledge, and wanted to make an easy way for Jesus to occupy a great position in the church. Nicodemus was part of the High Council, the Sanhedrin. Unfortunately, by this time, Joseph had realized what Jesus believed and taught was totally against the religion of the day.
Anyway, Joseph made arrangements for Nicodemus to meet with Jesus. Even though Nicodemus didn’t totally understand Jesus’ message, they did become very good friends.

No, but Nicodemus seems to have believed Jesus' teachings, though often was hidden in the background. What he did after Jesus' death is not written, if he completely and publicly made his beliefs known. Jesus known relatives were, Mary, his mother, John the Baptist, his 2nd cousin (Elizabeth, Mary's cousin), John, a another cousin, James, a brother, there are also other brothers and sisters mentioned but by name.
