I'm not sure whether you should confront her. But I do know that it is very hard to change people's attitudes. I'm sorry you have to put up with this. Sounds like a very toxic environment.
It sucks sometimes when you are young and you have to get any job you can. But know that there are better jobs out there where colleagues are actually nice.
Personally, I'd keep my head down and focus on qualifying in a career where I'd be happy but you wouldn't be wrong to confront her about it .

Deal with your emotions. If you don't know how, get some therapy in order to learn how. Learn how to be your own "hugs" for yourself.
Your boss is not your mommy or daddy .. your boss is there to see that the job gets done and it us up to you to do your part. She is not there to care about your hurt feelings.
You are acting like a pre-schooler, and need to grow up.
Confront her? Honey, life is NOT the Jerry Springer show. Confront your boss, and you get fired. Don't have a "fired" on your job record.
btw, I am a girl. Lived a long time and worked a lot of jobs.
Welcome to reality.

For goodness sake people don't hug each other at work. This could be classed as assault. You are not a baby looking for love, you have grown up.
Toughen up and keep your hands to yourself.
