I need info on car engine material. Can you help?

What material is best for a engine block? And why

Aluminum

Iron

Steel(provide info info on why not used plz)

Carbon fiber

Nickel,

    Any engine requires steel/iron around the cylinders to handle the heat and wear. Cast iron gives this automatically and casts easily, but is very heavy, so aluminum is used to save weight even tho it costs more and has expansion problems. Carbon fiber is pointless for this application - misuse. Don't expect a better answer to this highly technical topic that nobody answered in 8 hours
