Everyone in my family is sick! Help?
So few days before the water in our house was badly contaminated. Then we got it cleaned and now its back to its usual clean self.
But just one day after, my grandmother started puking and had diarrhoea. It has longed for 3 days now and she says she feels better. Amidst this all my mother started puking last night with the same case of diarrhoea. I live in India. Can anyone suggest what's going on? I don't think it's because of the water because no one drank that water. It was filtered by RO and then we drank it. I've my exams soon and I'm scared if this is contagious. Will they get OK soon? Any ideas?

I'm no doctor but from experience i think a stomach bug is the problem especially since your grandma is feeling better after a few days. although if your mom doesn't get better soon you should take her to the doctor so she doesn't get dehydrated and so they can help her get better. As for yourself staying away from them as much as possible and not eating/drinking after them should keep you healthy. I also recommend lots of water (if you have bottled i would try that just in case it is the water, but since they cleared it, it should be fine) and bland food (bread, potatoes, rice, chicken broth, etc) when you mom can handle it so she doesn't get dehydrated and has something in her stomach. hope this helps and your mom and grandma feel better! good luck on your exams too!
