and even after getting it how can it be used as "evidence"

    The appeal hearing is based on court of law requirements. One of these is full disclosure of information. Wideman isn't as smart as Tom Brady and didn't think to run over his phone with his truck.

    It didn't matter the rule says 20 games for intentional injury. It wasn't accidental so it was intentional. There is no other argument. The cell phone information could have been used to increase the suspension.

    Let this be lesson to all you children. What you put into cyberspace is no longer private.

    Part of the CBA is to allow the league or players access at all documents , emails, or texts that might be pertinent. The league asked for Widemans phone, so he had to turn it over.
