From a quick Google, it has totally killed a few people. I liked ephedra in the 90s but that too killed a bunch of people and it was criminalized in the US. I do think there's a certain personal responsibility, where I know when to quit because I know how much help to take if I should choose to. But if you spend any time no here, you'll see, most people don't. They will totally ride the high right as it crashes into the ground.
A basic orientation in pharmacology and resourcefulness can answer all your questions. I'm far too lazy to do it for you but what you might want to look up as tools are EBSCO and the PDR. If you can learn to use those, you'll know everything you want to.
Why does it kill people? I didn't read it yet. But it's one of those things. you hear Uncle Joe smoked pot and wasted his life. Is it worth the risk to you? Maybe some idiot overdid it in the 80s, but maybe, you are toying with death. If you have to go to war or something fine, but do you want to be the girl who dies because she wanted to lose 5 pounds? All because jogging sounds like hard work, so you die instead?
