Could North Korea's artillery forces destroy all of Seoul if they attacked?

I'm sure they could destroy Seoul if the South, the US, Japan, and everyone else on the South's side just stood by and watched them do it.

It's 2016. We have spy satellites, U-2s, and Global Hawks constantly watching them. As see as we saw any significant indicators of any possible activity, the alert level of forces in and around South Korea would go up. As soon as the North started firing, they would find themselves on the receiving end.

And don't worry about China jumping in. Their economy is now dependent on the US and the rest of the world buying their crap and could care less about the revolution of the proletariat. If the North tries something, they will be on their own.

North Korea is the most surveilled nation in the history of humanity. Could they hit Seoul? Sure. They might even get off the first shot. But the punishment raining down on them thereafter would render a second shot impossible.

North Korea have enough missiles and heavy artillery to destroy much of Seoul. The South Koreans don't want the Americans to start a conflict with North Korea and make South Korea the fall guys. Americans like to talk big about turning North Korea into glass. It just wouldn't happen. China wouldn't allow it. No matter what you think, the USA really doesn't rule the world and they can't nuke someone when they feel like it.

All of the NK Artillery positions are known and targeted. They would be taken out as soon as they started firing.

easily , I am sure. If they launched............missles would be in downtown Seoul in a matter of minutes .....not enough time to do squat. They'd all be sitting ducks.

But if they did that..........what you think the response would be? The North would be turned into "glowing Sand" as Ted Crud likes to say.

NK says a lot of things. SK has a lot of power to retaliate, and lots of supplies too.

I think every country could use conventional weapons to excess and wipe us all out , even without nukes.
