any ideas on prices and performance points for new amd and nvidia cards coming in mid summer?

Maybe from someone who remembers what they did at other similar launches

    the best price/performance has always been:

    nvidia: x60 and x70 cards (ie gtx760, 960 and 770, 970)

    amd: r9 x80 and x80X and x90 (such as r9 280/280X/380/380X/390)

    sticking with those cards always yield the best price/performance.

    the gtx 1060 will likely launch around $200-250 and gtx 1070 will likely be between $300-400

    the r9 480 will likely launch around $200-250, 480X likely $250-300, and 490 likely $300-400

    $230+- $330+- $550+- $650+- $1000+- I believe was the prices from last gpus.

    Next gen will probably be around the same price.
