How can we encourage the sensibile, but usually reserved people of the world to stand up to the loudmouths and idiots?

i might be guilty of this myself although i usually recognise it and put the breakers on it, but we see alll the opinionated loudmouths on the internet arguing the toss of every sensible suggestion made, can we create some forum where en etiquette is developed to minimise the impact of unreasonable comments?

I wish there was a way. As a person who has lived my life standing up to bullies. And helping friends an family. It's hard for me to accept listening to people talk trash or half the bad stuff online. I have even become friends with jerks in the hopes that maybe i can turn a bad person into a good person. It doesn't work, you will just feel uncomfortable as they laugh at people an then expect you to laugh with them ect. Until one day you call them out on their bs an tell them what a animal they are. An that they aren't funny or tough ect. The other thing about these kind of people is they aren't gonna read something online an then change. They don't care what you or i think of their behavior an the only way bullies learn is when someone bigger and stronger puts them in their place. My source is years and years of me putting people into their place. I have learned that is the only way idiots or jerks change is when they fear the consequences of being a jerk around you then they know you won't allow them to do it an then they stop themself.
