I would tell him or her that it was a bad idea not to look at ratemyprofessor.com before taking these teachers and he or she should of gone for tutoring or change majors. A lot of degrees don't require core classes at 2 year colleges. This person can make a lot of money with just a certificate or a high school diploma and work experience. This person maybe should of taken this class at a community college with an easier teacher. Maybe this person's destiny is not to be in college right now ;) life is more than college and this person can make a business or be a web designer or be an ebay seller or amazon seller making 100k a year :) u know what I mean :)) there are many MANY things one can do. College is not always the right thing to do. It is quite expensive and not always worth it when one can get a better job without a college degree. I wish this person all the best & this person is amazing for retaking it 5 times! That takes guts!

a lot of people have that one class that they have trouble with. i would say be more proactive in the class. go to the professor's office hours to see if they can explain the information in a different way, form study groups that kind of things. As an absolute worst case, I would ask the adviser if they can replace that class with a different one.

That is a massive waste of money. Depending on the school's policies, it might be a big hit to their GPA too.

Passing is usually set between 60-75% depending on the program. This indicates "mastery" of a little over half the material. C is average, a D is below average. If the person hasn't grasped enough of the material after three times, they probably need to stop trying. 5 is unbelievable.

He is genius in different way. If fish can't climb a tree, will you judge it as failure or stupid for the rest of your life? If that person is not good at study doesn't mean he/she is failed for life, people are all born talented in their own way, you just need to discover their talent. Encourage him/her in different way. There this boy in my class who is so amazing in playing guitar but struggle so much in study, yet he is still consider stupid but I know if he is encourage in right way, someday he can be a great musician :)

Find a new way to learn the material, they're lucky they weren't kicked out for failing that many times if this is a college student.

The same class! Most colleges only allow the same class to be taken 3 times.

I would say that this person ought enroll at the community college. Maybe for the same goals as he had at the college level or change to a different profession than he wanted before. My advice can open the door to some new thinking that this person needs to start. Good luck.

So they should not focus only his study books but also they must find the best coaching institute who is able to give the proper study classes with better learning skills.

I wouldn't say anything, unless they asked my opinion. I taught learning disability students all of my adult life. Some people have real, legitimate learning disabilities, which make it necessary to re-take some of their classes, over and over. Never, never judge the other guy unless you've walked in his shoes...
