I adore Belle names, but the 'carl' at the beginning masculineizes the name. The masculine 'carl' sound does not compliment the feminine 'belle.'

If you like 'Belle' names, then...

    Christabelle

    Annabelle

    Isabelle

    Corabelle

    Clarabelle

    Mirabelle

    Serabelle

    Belinda

    Belladonna

    Anneliese

    Evangeline

    Cecilia

    Celia

    Cordelia

    Fiona

    Carlibelle . . . about a 2/10

I can only really see it on a girl between ages 1 and 6. I can't imagine a teenager, an adult, or an older lady named Claribelle. I would hate to be one . . . it just seems ridiculous. To have a name like that on your name-tag, or your resume?

It just seems like too much. Like someone is trying way, way hard to make an innocent-sounding/glamorous name. Instead, to me, it honestly just seems really, really trendy and not very pretty at all.

    Alternatives could be:

    - Carly

    - Carly (Belle as the middle name).

    - Carlene

    - Caroline

    - Isabelle

    - Annabelle

    - Carly Anne

    - Clara

    - Claire.

If you insist on using Carlibelle, then definitely use "Carly" as the nickname.

It sounds kind of hillbillieish to me.. I don't think it's very cute.

    Suggestions:

    Lily

    Caroline

    Jade

    Sophie/Sophia

    Juliet

    Haven

    Isabelle/Isabella

    Symphony

    Aria

    Mackenzie

    Lylah

    Jasmine

I think it's quite cute, actually. I'm not normally huge on made-up names, but this one is pretty adorable.

    Carlibelle Grace

    Carlibelle Rose

    Carlibelle Lily

    Best of luck :)

I don't like Carlibelle much personally. However, I do like Clarabelle, or Carabelle.

It kind of reminds me of a dolled up poodle.

But, it has lots of nickname options and isn't overly common.

    It's growing on me...

    It's cute in a trailer-parky way.

She will get her name changed after a miserable childhood, but that's ok.
