How do you account for the rapid disappearance of many languages despite frantic efforts to keep some of them alive?

Could it be it's the giver of languages (Genesis 11:7) HE being the one who originally formed thousands of languages within a very small group, sets a time limit upon their existence, And at the same time places a restriction on intellectual efforts to breed any new language, such as esparanto?

The end will come when the Gospel of the Kingdom has been preached throughout the world: "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14).

With the advent of worldwide satellite-based telephony and the internet, the gospel can be obtained while one is positioned anywhere in the world - on every square inch of the earth's surface. Certainly for various and diverse reasons languages are disappearing which is only a tragedy for a very few who care. In the mean time, everyone can come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Imagine that a person can print out a copy of the Bible in 72 different languages (bible gateway.com). Ethnicharvest.org directs its users to 250 languages on-line.

This particular prophecy is one of the "end times" events which denotes the time just preceding the return of Jesus.

I believe it's the rapid, widespread use of English. We, as Americans, expect everyone else to understand and speak English. We, however, do not expect ourselves to make as much of an effort to learn the different languages of different countries as non-native speakers do in learning English. Also the fact that many smaller, less known languages are either combined with major languages to form a new language (like Catalan, used in the southern regions in Spain), or the cultures/people that use these languages are forced to assimilate into mainstream societies.

Because there are no words for "restriction enzyme", "gudgeon pin" or "radio" in Gaelic or a host of other languages, which have never developed a vocabulary to handle the technology of the 1800s let alone the 2000s.

Its an end times prophecy as what Bulky_Bob said.

During the end times, the world will united under 1 government. This 1 government will go to war against God.

Like which? Please name some languages that have disappeared "rapidly" despite these frantic efforts you're referring to. Oh, and name the frantic efforts as well.
