What happens if I join the Army and this happens?
I AM joining the United States Army but my mother does not approve, and she does have a say now because I'm not 18 yet but that's not what this is about. If I join when I turn 18, this will be halfway through my senior year of high school, there is a small but extremely real chance my mother will pull me out of high school to keep me from getting my GED/diploma, effectively barring me from joining. At that point in time I will still be one of her dependents and thus she can do this. Will the army help me finish high school or will I be SOL if this happens?
Please only serious answers about my question, this is not about whether or not to make the choice, it's already been made.
Edit: If I join as soon as I turn 18, as opposed to waiting until I graduate, I have many more opportunities. Examples: MOSs and such.
This is why it is important to enlist ASAP; That and if I enlist this year, I ship to basic 2 weeks after I graduate meaning I have much less interaction with my extremely negative mother.

She cannot take you out of school, unless she provides alternate schooling (ie homeschool).
You cannot join when you turn 18, you have to get a diploma or GED first. But you can do all the paperwork and stuff so that you can leave shortly after you graduate. It won't change the opportunities available.
You can go talk to a recruiter about your specific situation and what your options are. You don't need her permission for that, and they might even come to your school.

The Army won't let you join until you are 18 and have a diploma. If all you have is a GED you will have to have at least 15 units of college credit.

Finish school first then join.
