often I need to print an entire webpage but am forced to print multiple screen shots to do so. is there a way to print the entire web page at one time?

Why are you printing screenshots?
Just print the page normally. File --> Print... All pages

For Firefox, you can use this free addon:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pag...
It has a setting for "save entire page".
