I have an iPhone that's connected to TracFone and I cannot receive group messages.. Any way to fix this?
I used to have just a normal slider cell phone connected to TracFone but my mom gave me her old iPhone to use instead and we connected it to my TracFone account except I can't receive any group messages that aren't from other people with iPhones/iPods... Does anyone know how to fix this? You're apparently supposed to be able to do something to be able to receive group messages.. Please help me.. I'm on a sports team and it's really important that I get these group texts..

Many people have the same problem - it has nothing to do with Tracfone. it has to do with iOS version.

"Not sure if this will help everyone but I did manage to get my group text working again! In iPhone settings, I disabled the wi-fi assist and it started working again. In my case, I had to make sure this option was turned off on both iPhones that were in the group chat but its been a few days now with no real issues. To disable this, go into the Settings, select Cellular, then scroll all the way to the bottom and turn off the wi-fi assist."
