    I hate it when that happens. Glad to see that I'm not the only one, but it's unfortunate that you have to go through that. On the plus side, it seems a lot of us have had that issue.

    That hasn't happened much recently, but a few years ago it happened often. And you're right, it was as frustrating as could be to type an answer only to get the "This question has been withdrawn" or deleted or something like that. Nobody wants to waste their time on fluff like that, IMO.

    The questions I spend a lot of time answering are ones where I have to learn something or polish up my thoughts to respond properly. So even if the question is poofed, the time isn't a complete waste.

    It could also have been Yahoo that deleted it, though.

    Or maybe God withdrew it. Sometimes God or one of his elves comes down and withdraws questions on here.
