Getting my racket restrung?

My tennis coach said my strings are loose and recommended getting it restrung. I didn't wanna ask her because I don't wanna seem like a complete noob lol.

How does that work? I have a Wilson 99s. It came strung when I bought it. I saw on the internet they recommended the synthetic gut power strings. Do I just purchase the strings and bring them somewhere, paying for them to replace the strings?? Or do I bring it to the place & they buy the strings themselves?

Thanks!

Take the stick to an area pro shop or "fitness" club that has someone on staff to restring rackets. If there are none in the area, contacting a local university that has a tennis program will be the next step, since coaches either string rackets or know where you can get the job done. Each racket has stringing specifications, which will be followed....unless you have a specific customized plan (which is not recommended).

Try songing them with a little water! Then let the strings dry!
