Why don't the republicans or the democrats have a plan to lower the price of health care?
Health care is more than my yearly raise at work.

There is.
A single payer, Medicare for all plan.
Would raise your Medicare payroll deduction about 3% but tax increase would be offset by having no monthly healthcare premium.
The Republicans plan? Same old healthcare savings plan which benefits the wealthy and offers no reduction in costs.

Republicans do, but the President won't sign it. Democrats aren't concerned about lowering the cost of health care. In fact, they're actually opposed to it. You see, if health care remains unaffordable and the economy remains weak as a result, the people will eventually come crying to government for help, having forgotten that it was the government and the Democrats who intentionally caused the problem in the first place. The Democrats will compassionately oblige by taking over all aspects of health care, 'socializing' it, which was the plan all along. But they couldn't do that until they'd so broken the old system and the people had no choice but to accept socialized medicine as the only 'viable' alternative. See how that works? It's a power thing. The left is all about power.
In summary, the DEMOCRATS BROKE HEALTH CARE! And now they're campaigning as the ones that are going to fix it. No, really! Honest injun! This time we'll get it right. If O'Care was such an historical accomplishment, why are the folks that broke it promising to be the ones to fix it. (And the left applauds them for it. Memory of a gnat.)

If I am not mistaken Sanders and Trump both have "plans" or have mentioned how to go about lowering the prices.

I think single payer would help as well as switching all medical businesses to non profits as well as allowing mail order prescriptions to be filled in other countries. But sadly, it's all rigged against us.

Trump has mentioned the only thing that could possibly lower costs. He wants there to be competition across state lines
The current restrictions prevent competition and only allow a few oligarchs to own the business
Adding more free government will only I increase the price
