if they do this, that would be so stupid, and be unnecessary
even if you use wireless headphones, dont you still want the option to use wired?? and even if lightings a better connection, they still shouldnt remove the headphone jack, cuz why not have both options.. Considering the 3.5mm jack is the MOST common way people use headphones, that would be extremly retarded for apple to take it out of the iPhones when all the other android phones still have it

No one knows, I heard rumor they want to use lightning port for everything, which I think that would be great because thats a better and stronger connection.
