Flying from the UK to the US - what do I need?

I'm going for a little over a week. The person I'm visiting has bought my essentials already - deodorant, face wipes, shampoo - everything I'll need except makeup.

I mean the things like, do I have to fill out an immigration form beforehand or will I be given one to fill out during the flight? That kind of thing.

I'll be flying with Delta if that makes any difference.

    You need a valid passport that is in date for the length of your stay.

    You also need to apply online for an ESTA https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/ The link is the official US government site, DO NOT use any other.

    You are then good to go.
