is there a "word" or "emotion" that can describe a love for another despite the anger or betrayal that has been dealt?

Not forgiveness, but say for example a loved one has cheated and dealt so much pain to you, but regardless you still love them and will be there for them, but can no longer trust them and you are now the moon to them and they are the wolf.

For example, a former lover being at the side of a loved one despite the pain that has been dealt, but even though you will always be there, when they need you or need help but can never trust them with your heart again.

Update:

ok i have come to a conclusion that "caring" but not "loving" anymore would be best to explain this.

The words "long-suffering" and "forbearing" describe such love. Their noun forms are "long suffering" and "forbearance."

    Examples:

Despite all John's cheating, Mary burned with long-suffering love, so she remained.

John's cheating would have killed regular love, but Mary was filled with forbearance.
