How to middle a shape in Adobe Photoshop?
I'm using Adobe Photoshop CC.
I created a shape using the "rectangle tool".
Now I want to place that shape exactly in the middle of the canvas (not necessarily the center though). How do I do that?

Do a Select All (ctrl+A) so the marching ants are all around the borders. Make sure the shape layer is selected. Go to the Layer pulldown menu at the top --> Align Layers to Selection --> Vertical Centers, then repeat with Horizontal Centers.
