Has the battery for my camper gone bad or what?
My camper (recently bought used) the electricity quit working sometime last night.
It was plugged into the house (i usually keep one light on inside)
I went outside and the electricity was competent off and the battery is completely dead (i tapped each positive and negative on opposite posts to check for spark).
Has the battery just quit working or what?
How would the battery quit working plugged into the house?

It doesn't have to be a bad battery. It could also be
The house breaker it was plugged into tripped;
The cord from house to camper has come unplugged;
The charger in the camper cold have a bad wire;
The charger in the camper is fried;
The connection between the charger and the battery is bad, or
The connection between the battery and the camper circuit is open.
Start by plugging a lamp into the extension cord from the house. If there is power, start going through the camper with an ohm meter (to determine circuit continuity).

When you're plugged into house 110v it should automatically charge your battery. But do some checking as there may be a switch involved or the battery charger is bad or disconnected.
