I have a 3/4 size violin that I have owned for 20+ years from when I used to play. It's in need of some repair. How much can I sell it for?

Update:

The bridge broke off, the chinrest is gone, and the bow needs replacing. The make is "Corelli Violin" and says "B&J Music Canada". I've had it for 22 years, it was given to me at the time when I was a kid playing violin before naturally developing different interests a couple of years later.

There's a very good chance that the repairs it needs would cost more than the violin is worth. Have it evaluated by a violin dealer.

Nowhere near enough information, it's like asking how much a white car is worth. So, what brand is it? When was it made? What quality are the materials it was made with? What repairs does it need? With only the information provided it could be worth nothing or many thousands. You need to take it to a violin shop to have it evaluated in person. Most instruments as you describe are worth from $50-250.

Check for identification of make or maker. Was it purchased new or does it have a history? If it's a Guaniari for example your choice of restorers even is important. Good Luck.

Depends on the condition it's in.
