URGENT: WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY DOG???

my dog has been acting really weird this morning. we got up at around 6am (its 9am now) and shes usually sleepy but today shes been restless as hell. i took her out, she peed and made a big poop. didnt help. still pacing everywhere, doesnt stay in the same place/position for more than a minute. (which is weird for her). she was licking my hand and i noticed her tongue felt a lot hotter than normal and her nose feels warm too. im very nervous because i cant find anything online and i dont know what to do. im only 16 and my mom is at work. please help me i really love my dog and im really scared shes going to die

Update:

shes about 3 years old and shes a pointer mix, were not sure her exact age and breed because we adopted her so its just an estimate from the shelter

also yesterday my mom fed her a piece of bread from my sandwich and my sandwich had some onion on it could that be why shes acting like this and if so what should i do

caroline: she often licks my hand when i feed her a treat thats how i can tell and usually it just feels like a gross tongue but today i could tell it was much hotter

i didnt recently get her weve had her for 2 1/2 years and thats why im nervous cause her behavior is far from her usual self

i havent noticed her drink water but it wouldnt have stood out to me if she did becuase im used to that sound

    If she's a little restless and might possibly but you don't really know have a low grade fever I really wouldn't even worry about it. If she worsens you'll have to call the vet.

    Note that pointers are exceedingly energetic dogs. Did you only recently get her? If she's finally settled in you may be seeing her "true colors" so to speak. She may need more exercise. Our pointer mix is a ball of energy and exuberance. A relative of mine has owned pointers for years. Restlessness is pretty typical in the pointer breeds, they have boundless energy.

    I wouldn't worry too much unless she starts not drinking water (or drinking what seems like way too much water) and not eating. Try taking her out to play some more and see if that helps.

    Is she drinking water okay? I'm not sure how you know that her tongue is "a lot hotter than normal" I mean, do you feel her tongue all the time?

    Sounds to me like she's interested in something outside or she smells something that she wants to get at. Maybe check around outside your house.

    Is she coming into season? That can give them an upset stomach and make them unsettled. But so can a stomach upset, so just make sure she has fresh water and keep an eye on her for more symptoms.

    Is she spayed? If not maybe a false pregnancy is causing the upset.
