What sin are atheists living in?

Just read this comment from another question and am genuinely curious what these sins are that theists continually say we're living in. Does anyone have any insight into these sins we're committing and living in?

Quote - "Sure atheists can be relatively moral. But they are still living in sin."

Original Question - /question/index?qid=20160...

Update:

@ Bob - Thank you, that actually makes sense and yet I never hear of that one being attributed to us. It's usually lie, cheat, steal, fornicate, etc....which most of us don't do.

Update 2:

@FB - I actually agree with you for once FB, thank you. I kept thinking of carnal sins and things of that nature, so I was curious what else we were "doing wrong" from your perspective.

The "sin" we live in is denying god in one form or another. Then there is the blasphemy (ultimate sin) of not believing in the holy spirit.

However, this is generally the only "sin" atheists live in, but the small minded Christian lumps all wrong-doings into that pot. So, to the blindered, everything we do has to be some kind of debauchery and sin. Christians believe that original sin plagues us all and can only be saved by following Jesus, which we don't. While many of these questions are pure troll, how many times have you seen "where do atheists get their morals from?"

Atheists recognize the truth about modern day monotheism.

You are told you will never measure up; to love that which you fear; you will be punished if you don t behave a certain way; you own nothing; you are nothing because everything you are and ever will be belongs to an omniscient master that may see fit to reward you if you please him.

In the modern day and age we call this SLAVERY.

[EDIT: A sin is anything that threatens the authority of religion -- reason and evidence being the primary source of "sin". ]

Sin is a subjective state that requires a belief system and judgments. Since I do not believe, I do NOT live in sin.

Every single PERSON on the earth lives in SIN - not just atheists not JUST anyone - ALL of us are sinners because we all live in a fallen sinful world - PERIOD!

I think Pope Francis is a better authority then that poor fellow.

The Pope said that atheists who do good go to heaven.

Atheists aren't committing any more sins then the rest of us.

The same sins that are prevalent to all human beings, not just atheists. Jesus said that with genuine repentance, He can forgive us of all our sins. There is one sin however that He will not forgive and that is the sin of blasphemy against His Holy Spirit. If one denies Christ, he/she will die in their sins.

I think stuff like that are funny-in a weird way (not a hahaha way) because II know I live a much more "morally upright" life than most of the religious folks I know. I have nothing to atone for, nothing to repent, no wrongs to right.

"What sin are atheists living in?"

None. Sin is a made up cult concept which is irrelevant.

I thought the bible said to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling and to judge not lest ye be judged. It seems to say that what other people believe is not your concern. Frankly, before I started propagating my beliefs, I'd be busy trying to prove my own theories. I'm just saying, before you try to discredit someone else's beliefs, it might be good to prove your own are true, don't you think?
