Yeah the javaScript in the browser is capable of mining your data. Why would you join social media if you didn't want them to have your personal information?
Secondly, I think Facebook won't let you log in because of an entirely different problem.

Huh? Facebook doesn't do anything of the sort. If you can't log in, you've got bigger issues not related to FB.

I cleaned one yesterday after cleaning with malwarebytes and the antivirus and resetting the browser I still could not get on Facebook.
But after rebooting the cable modem it worked

avira is a really good free one may can call microsoft and get virus support
