What's the best pellet to use for a close range rabbit shot?

I started raising rabbits for meat. The slaughter day for the first batch of rabbits are coming up and I bought a .177 Gamo Whisper silent cat air rifle with 1200 fps. I'm going to execute them with a shot to the back of the head . I'm trying to make this quick, easy and painless. What type of pellet would you recommend? I heard Crosman was good. What type of Crosman pellets should I use? There are so much types

If it were me I'd use a flat tip/head pellet.

From a few inches away, it really will not matter.

Wadcutters(flat) will work just fine and Crosman wadcutters

    are extremely inexpensive.

For hunting. Domed pellets are generally

preferred since they have the highest ballistic coefficient.

Crosman Domed, either the 7.9 or 10.5gr

    Rabbits

    Just snap their neck.

At close range it isn't going to matter as long as you place the shot well. That rifle is more than sufficient for the job. A BB would do the trick as well.

Why are you going to shoot them in the head? You can't 100% guarantee a kill that way anyways, esp if they move around. Why don't you just break their necks with your hands or hit it in the head with a hammer, you big wuss?
