What @Cameron said. It's a way of making fun of the stupid people who believe that the Illuminati exist in the modern day. And when you said you know who they "are," it appears that you are one of those stupid people.
The Illuminati have not existed for over 200 years. And when they did exist, they had nothing to do with "devil worship," "world domination," or "Jay-Z."

it just a joke thing that people do. they see a triangle somewhere or make chain connections to triangle references and say "illuminati confirmed". just a joke thing :)
