Can small children and animals sense psychic abilities?

Small children don't possess the cognitive capacity to distinguish between fantasy/dreams and reality. They believe there are monsters under the bed. And have you ever stopped to ask yourself how we could possibly know that animals can sense spirits, if there even are such things? How could we possibly know that, even if it were true? Do you know any English-speaking dogs who can explain that "Yes, I really was barking at an invisible ghost, and not at those kids walking down the street outside the house that you didn't notice." Of course not. It's a silly folk superstition.

No. Psychic abilities (and ghosts) are imaginary. Babies stare at anything they look at. Also, they have gas. You're imagining more significance to a cat walking past you than exists.
