For liberals that believe in socialism, can you please explain this to me?

You won't get any intelligent answers from liberals. Just look at the first few. This is why they need everything handed to them. They just aren't smart enough to be out on their own. They can't make intelligent decisions about how to spend money. They think that $5/day at Starbucks is a necessity, not a luxury.

They think that it's ok to demand that other private citizens loan them money to go to college, and then they don't even want to pay it back!

They believe that "hate speech" is a real thing. They think they should never have to hear one word that goes against their feeeeeelings. They are so emotionally fragile that they really should be living in an institution.

They believe in global warming. They aren't intelligent enough to look back into history and see that the climate has always been changing. They don't understand that their numbers (even if they weren't cherry-picked and manipulated) only reflect an extremely short period of Earth.

They have never learned how to think for themselves. All they know is what the liberal talking heads tell them to think and feel. I'd feel bad for them if their stupidity only hurt themselves and wasn't causing harm to everyone.

Banks in highly socialistic countries work the same way that banks here work.

The fact remains that the US is now, and has been since our beginnings, a blend of capitalism and socialism and for the most part it has worked very well.

I simply believe that health care should be a right, and I would rather my tax dollar be spent helping the poor, elderly, sick, not to mention educating the young, then have it spent on the endless wars and empire, foreign aid and handouts to billion dollar corporations. In regressive eyes, this seems to make me either a "socialist" or a commie.

Our employers are worse than your hypothetical "liberal bank." They keep the money you've earned and give you less than your fair share. I'd rather have my fair share than as little as bosses think they can get away with paying.
