Does the following symmetric equation have any intercepts?

(x-2)/6 = (y-4)/3 = (z+8)/2

    Well,

    this line is the line that :

    passes through : A(2, 4, -8)

    directed by u = <6, 3, 2>

    giving the parametric equations :

    x = 6t + 2

    y = 3t + 4

    z = 2t - 8

    and we see that for no value of t we can have :

    either : x=y=0

    or : y=z=0

    or : z=x=0

    ==> the answer is : no ...
