Do I need to play any game before fully enfoying Final Fantasy XV knowing that it will be my first RPG other than Skyrim?

Nope. The Final Fantasy games stand alone for the most part. This is in the same universe as the Final Fantasy XIII games, but it occurs somewhere completely different so there should be more than references.
