how to calculate the resistance of a wires when you add a second wire.?

been out of school awhile and i dont quite remember. i was pretty sure it didn't just cut the resistance in half. 20' of 22 awg has a resistance of 0.3 ohms, what would 2 22 awgs be?

    resistances in parallel are the inverse of the sum of the inverses.

    r=1/(1/.3 + 1/.3) = 1/(2/.3) = .3/2 =.15
