Can an ambulance driver give a ticket?

Today,An ambulance was behind me and their was no where to pull over so I came to a complete stop and he wouldn't go around and he could of because it was a three lane road.So I went up a little farther and went out my way to go in to a turn signal lane and he was clear to go again but he stop behind me for like 4 seconds and then he went around yelling at me.Overall I made two attempts.Yes his sirens was on.I live in Pennsylvania.

    It's called failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Keep in mind, they do know the cops, so your plate may have been turned in.

    No, ambulance drivers don't issue tickets, but they do have radios that allow them to contact police who can and will.

    No, but they can forward your license plate number to the police. They can give you a ticket for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.

    No they can't. They are not traffic enforcement. I have a dash camera to protect me from idiot drivers. But it is a double edged sword. It can also prove my guilt. Knowing that, I'm extra cautious.

    No. The police won't act on any report from any driver that isn't a police officer.
