You can feed it dry that is NOT "raw" but water must be available at all times, if so. My suggestion is to add warm water to it to release some of the fat & flavors but NOT to let it sit & soften, simply put it down.

Do NOT add cow's milk or you will give the puppy or dog DIARRHEA! Once weaned, they need NO milk & cannot ever handle cow's milk (as it is too species different from canine to even be given to newborn pups.) Most weaned puppies become lactose intolerent

(No kibble or dry food is EVER to be referred to as RAW => BITE your tongue) before somebody who DOES "raw feed" bites your head = OFF. Kibble (aka dry food) is actually COOKED to DEATH & is missing MANY nutrients which is WHY so many people do feed raw.

How old is the puppy and what do you mean by raw? Isn't this a kibble? If the puppy is 6 weeks old or older it can eat dry kibble right from the bag. If it's younger, you can soak the kibble in warm water to soften it. Do NOT mix it with cow's milk as the pup will probably end up with diarrhea. There ARE feeding instructions on the bag of food. Please go read them. It's my opinion that Royal Canin isn't a very good food, but if this is what's available to you and what you can afford, then so be it.

I would think that there would be directions on the bag to answer your question. I would actually use my eyes and my brain at the same time (better known as looking) and see what it says on the back of the bag. Or if there is an 800 number on the back of the bag, try picking up the phone and calling them.

never with milk. Can be warm water run over it and then straight off again just to soften it a little, or you can feed it totally dry.

Just to add.. if your dog isn't used to this then he needs to be fed his old food with a little of the new added with each meal so that it is gradually weaned over.

Read the package, you can read can't you?

Dog foods aren't breed specific, that's just a marketing ploy.

Dogs are lactose intolerant and should not be given any dairy products.
