Do you truly believe that you would have converted to your current religion if you were born in a different family with different religion ?

That's some pretty wild speculation. I don't have a religion and I'd like to think that I would have rejected any religion I was born into but there's no conceivable way to know that.
Recent findings indicate that the brains of believers and nonbelievers are wired differently. So someone might accept or reject religion regardless of what their upbringing was, simply by virtue of having the brain structure that enabled that decision.

Am absolutely certain, because that is true of my background.
I was NOT raised in a Christian home. I'm not going to get into a lot of details of my life to save space, but suffice it to say that by my mid-20's, I was living a self-destructive lifestyle. Someone asked me if he could pray for me, I could not have cared less, but I said ok, if that makes you feel good. But praying to a dead man is no better than or different from praying to a chair.
Well, long story short, he prayed, and Jesus answered his prayer, and opened my eyes to the truth of who Jesus really is.
As I have said so many times before, and it's worth repeating, but, "it's amazing how that once you actually meet someone, you can no longer deny his existence", and that is also true of God/Jesus.
People who say there is no God because of their lack of knowledge is as foolish as a man born blind saying that colors don't exist because HE can't see them. Or worse, a man who deliberately pokes his own eyes out so he wouldn't be able to see the colors.
Over the years, I have now become fully convinced that Jesus is exactly who He claimed to be, the very Son of God, who died for MY sins, then rose again the morning of the 3rd day just as He said He would do, thus proving once and for all time that He truly IS the Son of God.
An atheist is someone who doesn't know something, so he thinks that nobody knows. He has limited the universe down to his own personal knowledge base and experience level, and like the proverbial ostrich, has poked his head in the sand so he won't be able to see Reality around him. I pity such a fool. Especially because he actually thinks that the universe is so limited to what only he, personally, knows about!

I truly believe that I would have converted to this current belief system if I were born in a different family, or any family. I was born to atheist parents, after all..
There is no chance to be saved after death. Jesus Christ is God, Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works or deeds or religions or anything. So to be in heaven and not in eternal torment in the lake of fire, believe in Jesus Christ to take you to heaven. That easy! Tell Jesus right now that you believe in Jesus for eternal life, and you will be in heaven! Jesus loves you and wants to bless you now and throughout your life and forever!

I'm converting to Judaism and was raised in a general Western secular family. Yes, I think I would have been drawn to this no matter where I was born.

Yes I do believe I would have converted, I dont like being lied to by religious leaders.
Nor do I understand worshiping God with lies. For instance: Jesus NEVER celebrated his
birthday nor did he tell us when his birthday was. Jesus Never said to celebrate Easter or use
the easter bunny and eggs.
But lo and behold many religions do that.
Truth is truth. Lies are Lies. cant make a lie into a truth.

I think when people are giving options from what they have learned yes I do believe it is possible.
You must remember that every one who is a follower of Jesus' teachings were not from Christian upbringing. Many have tried other religions before coming to the Christ.

Possibly yes but also likely that I wouldn't have. If I had met the people I've met in my life I would have converted anyway but I would have had to meet them somewhere outside church if it weren't because my family is Christian.

Yes. I think I was predestined to become a believer. God has revealed himself to me on many different occasions throughout my life. I have the admit I am truly blessed even when I don't deserve it.

Being born Catholic likely hastened by conversion to atheist, but I probably would have converted no matter the religion I was born into.

I'm an atheist. I can't imagine that not being the end result no matter what religion I had been indoctrinated into.
