Is it normal for 17 yr olds to have a hickey?
So as you could probably tell from my question, I m 17 (female- if that makes any difference), I ll be turning 18 in October and my boyfriend gave me a hickey but unintentionally I guess. We were messing around and he kissed my neck and idk it just turned into him giving me a hickey but anyway I came home and my mom saw it and she s so pissed- she took away my phone and iPod but I feel like she s kind of over exaggerating. This is my first official boyfriend so she s not used to me doing that kind of stuff so she s calling me a hoe and yeah idk it s not like I m 12.

hickeys are never "unintentional"....... he is telling the world that he has marked you as his.... and you let him get away with it.... it is considered a bragging point by immature males....
