I don't understand how to solve this 49x2 + 84x + 36?

it wants me to use the "special product rule" but I can't figure out how. I know what the product rule is but I don't know how to use it here

    49x^2 + 84x + 36

    = (7x + 6)^2

    49x² + 84x + 36

    the fact that the first and third terms are squares, this leads me to think it may be in the form of:

    (x + y)² = x² + 2xy + y²

    so if we get the square roots of the first and third terms, multiply them together, and double it and it is 84x, then this is the form needed to factor. so let's test that:

    √(49x²) = 7x

    √(36) = 6

    2(7x)(6) = 84x

    It is , so this is a perfect square trinomial that factors to:

    (7x + 6)²
