factor (m+n)^2-p^4?

I can't for the life of me figure out how to solve this. Because if I break it down to (m+n)^2 - (p^2)^2, and then [(m+n)+p^2][(m+n)-p^2], then there's nothing else I can do with it. I'm so confused.

Update:

it says that my answer is wrong

You already figured out the answer. There is nothing else you need to do. You've factored it and neither of the resulting terms can be factored further. About all you need to do is drop the extraneous parentheses.

    Answer:

    (m + n + p²)(m + n - p²)

    (m + n + p^2)(m + n - p^2) is correct.
