If you had to remove one of the 12 disciples from history, what are 10 reasons you would keep Judas Iscariot?
This is a balloon debate and I was given the character Judas Iscariot... Lucky me.

One might imagine that Jesus knew what the EFF he was doing, when he picked the Top Twelve.
Or, one might imagine that the story was pretty much made up, and Judas is no more real than Doctor Seymour Butz.
Perhaps I would keep Judas, and remove James the Greater, so that James the Less would then be the biggest Jim in the troop.
Imagine if St. Petersburg was actually named Big Jimburg!
And, even more exciting: Imagine if there was any testable evidence of the existence of ANY of the Gods and Goddesses!!!

1. He called Jesus' bluff. Long story. There's a YouTube video about it. Link below.
2. Jesus prophesied that he would keep Judas (Matthew 19:28). You can't argue with Jesus.
3. He's way more intriguing than the others.
4. He's way more intriguing than Jesus.
5. "Iscariot" is more intriguing than all of them too. Scholars aren't entirely sure what it means. Some guesses, but little confidence.
6. He was just following orders (John 13:27).
7. Trying to think of more...

Not one of the disciples were historical figures.
Adding names to fables, fictions do not make them any more real/historical than those characters in the Harry Potter series.

judas was a freind of jesus, why would jesus send him away ? would he not show mercy unto everyone that is not a son of perdition? if he betrayed jesus, he hung himself for it, but should he be considered the most evil man ever to life while jesus lived and died for all of us?
