How many were fans of BABYMETAL before they appeared on U.S television?

Not a hipster thing, I love the group, have for the past few years. Just wondering if their recent appearance on U.S television had brought in more fans.

    I first discovered BABYMETAL through their song "Iine!", in 2012. I instantly became a fan and have followed them ever since. I have their new album and will be seeing them live in May.

    I heard of babymetal before they were startinf to get some big recognition. Their Choco video had i think 500,000 at the time when i watched it
