If you think you might get sued, there is the possibility that you could get sued. Some organizations are more litigious than others. Anyone can sue you. Whether they would win the lawsuit is another matter. But the cost of defending yourself against a lawsuit can be very high. Even if they do not win the case, they could ruin you financially, especially if it is a large organization with a lot of money to throw around. Let's say you say something nasty about the Salvation Army. They might send you a cease and desist letter which would be a typical first step in someone who is thinking about bringing a lawsuit against you. You would either have to change that part of your book or be faced with the possibility of being engaged in a legal fight with a very large, powerful organization.
I would suggest that you use fictional names instead of real organizations in your book. That way no one will be tempted to sue you.

Real World organizations can be protective of their reputations.
That means you could be sued. Just change them into something vaguely similar.

Do you mean like helplines or something? Cause those are public, and I doubt that you would get in trouble for name-dropping an organization that is bent on helping victims
